Baby Rattlesnake Estate Viognier is a special varietal that can run the textural gamut, from broad and oily to uncompromisingly tight. We approach our Viognier with restraint, in an effort to harness a pure expression of Baby Rattlesnake terroir. The nose opens with effusive tones of Meyer lemon, jasmine and honeycomb, with mineralic underpinnings that speak to our unique soil. The palate is taut and lively with ripe nectarine, mascarpone and gooseberry, making for a Viognier of tremendous, lilting complexity that will continue to delight for years to come.
